Sometimes mine is the first one on the floor.

Did you make the doggies' quilts?

Sort of, BW, I bought a baby quilt in a thrift store, cut it in half and sewed bias tape onto the two cut edges. The quick and dirty way to make doggie blankets.

Perfect!

One of my Patchy Ladies spent 4 whole days making a beautiful quilt. When she'd finished we asked who it was for. Her son's dog, she said. 'Are you sure?' we asked, suspecting what would happen. When we saw here again a couple of weeks later, she laid out the quilt with a large hole in it and was about to set about mending it, when another member of the group - who has had dogs all her life - pointed out the never-ending nature of such an enterprise. I think she now wishes she'd done what you did!

Oh, no! My dogs seem to be better behaved than your Patchy Lady's son's dogs. I've never had any problems with them tearing up blankets or their beds. Belle does like to take her blanket outside to play with from time to time but it only needs a quick wash to be good as new. :)
