The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.

Doggie Owners Woes
If the last sixteen hours are any indication, the next two months are going to be stressful and tiring. Little Sally Pumpkinhead sees no reason not to do all the things she did before the surgery (Running, jumping, playing with Duke.) after the surgery. This means she is spending her time either in the portable pen, in her crate, or at the end of a leash. This is hard on her, hard on us, and hard on Duke. Hopefully as we all adjust to these changes things will get better.

That's tough but you at least know it has an end. Too bad we can't explain it to our pets.
<p>Rain, true, but I think pets are better off than us since they live life day by day. In two months Little Sally Pumpkinhead will be totally healed and gleefully racing after jack rabbits with not one thought about what her life was like before. Knowing this is the light at the end of my tunnel. :)

LSP is just like many humans after surgery then! At least she's got you to keep her on the straight and narrow. Get well soonest!
If you lived in a town in an urban area, this sort of treatment would be the whole of her life...
I'm glad the surgery went well!
