El Día de los Reyes Magos

Come, they told me
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
Our newborn King to see
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum

Our finest gifts we bring
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
To lay before the King
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
Rum, pa, pum, pum, rum, pa, pum, pum

So to honor Him
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
When we come

Baby Jesus
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
I am a poor boy too
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum

I have no gift to bring
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
That's fit to give a King
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
Rum, pa, pum, pum, rum, pa, pum, pum

Shall I play for You
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
On my drum, on my drum

Mary nodded
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
The ox and lamb kept time
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum

I played my drum for Him
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
I played my best for Him
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
Rum, pa, pum, pum, rum, pa, pum, pum

Then He smiled at me
Pa, rum, pa, pum, pum
Me and my drum

I'm glad that you posted this today.  No one seems to remember that today is the last day of the Christmas season.  I even remember as a child going to parties for the Feast of the Epiphany.  But now Christmas ends at midnight on the Dec 25th with most ppl.

I know, I wished someone a Merry Christmas the day after Christmas and they gave me a confused look and said, "Christmas is over."   I wanted to tell him, no, Christmas has just begun,

Holy Day of Obligation -- do they still call it that?  The church was pretty empty yesterday.  And I love that carol!!!!  Thanks!

You are welcome. :)

And I just checked; it looks like Epiphany isn't a Holy Day of Obligation anymore:

...United States, the celebration of Epiphany has been transferred to the Sunday that falls between January 2 and January 8 (inclusive).

Which makes it today, Jan 8th.
