We as a people chose:
Hope over fear.
Looking forward instead of backwards.
The bottom 47% over the top 1%.
Reason over self-righteousness.
Loving our neighbors as we do ourselves.
Separation of church and state.
Political fairness over political privilege.
In the end, we as a people chose to believe in truth, justice and the American way. We voted not against each other but for each other and that, my fellow Americans, is the true American way.
