The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.

I Am Learning To Sew- Project 13
Gingerbread men Christmas ornaments. I cut out the front shape and sewed it to a square piece of felt and then cut around the completed man. I made 5 of them but the first 3 had tan backs which made it hard to see just where the edge of the gingerbread man was when I sewed. I used red felt for the back of the last two. Using a contrasting color made sewing a lot easier.

I used to make felt ornaments and still have many of them. My first grandson loved everything gingerbread man and would love these, but alas now he is almost 7 and over that.
Colleen, he will like these if you tell them they were attacked by zombie gingerbread men and are now zombie gingerbread men themselves. ;)
