The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.

Doing Time
Belle in the slammer after having surgery on her left elbow yesterday.
She is doing well but is stuck with a 5 to 10 day sentence- depending on
good behavior.
:) We call it the cone of shame. It's one of the reasons why she looks so miserable in the photo. Recovering? Yes, and doing well. Behaving? No, that would take a miracle.

That is one sad looking doggy. I see that Elizabethan collars have come a long way over the years. This one is so stylish!
It is stylish and also allows the dog to lie down more comfortably.

As already mentioned looks a lot more comfortable than the one we have....but poor Belle, hope she's getting better.
