The more I read about the 1950s, the more confusing the era seems to me. Rules about how to sit? Honestly, I'd have made a horrible 50s housewife, what with my marginal housekeeping skills and my dislike of pearl necklaces!
And it is so hard to vacuum in high heels.
Excellent, our eldest Cocker Spaniel sits like this too...most un-ladylike.
Maybe female dogs are just like human females. We reach an age where we just do not care whether or not we are ladylike. ;)
