The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.

This woman has been the talk wherever I go today. Happy as I am with the outcome of this SC decision, it amazes me that it's even a topic of conversation. How detached from reality is this state? It boggles my mind.
How detached? Some people in the South still haven't accepted the fact that the Confederate Army lost the Civil War. Remember, South
Carolina was the first state to seceded from the union and started the Civil War by shelling Fort Sumter. The fact that a descendant of Jefferson Davis would stand up and admit that the Confederate flag is a symbol of hatred and must come down is a historical turning point in South Carolina history.
I found her speech very moving but I wish someone would do the same for gun control.
Unfortunately, we have not reached the tipping point on that issue.
