The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!
Six to eight inches of snow on the ground by the time we woke up today. Got it all shoveled off the driveway, backyard patio, and the sidewalks. My husband even snowblowed the sidewalks in front of the houses on either side of us. Then we took the dogs for a couple laps around the neighborhood. Had to walk in the street because everyone is just getting out to clean their walkway so we talked to neighbors we have never really met before. It was a fun morning.

I'm jealous! Very cold here - around freezing - but no snow and none forecast.
Well, BW, by the weekend most of the snow was gone because temps were up in the mid-fifties (teens in Celsius)with very warm and strong winds. Melting snow created rivers of water in the gutters. We are now waiting for the next storm to hit.
