The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.

When It Hasn't Been Your Day, Your Week, Your Month Or Even Your Year
An another long break between blog posts. The last 12 months as been busy with heath matters in our household. In that time period my husband has had three surgeries, all to do with quality of life repairs. The last one, a partial- knee replacement that due to complications turned into a full knee replacement, was two weeks ago so blogging is way down on my list right now. Will be back when my husband becomes more mobile.

That's tough but sounds like better times ahead just in time for summer
Thanks for the help, honey ... and I'll be back to abnormal in a month or two.
Mr. LaP
Well, botheration. Sorry to hear of this, wishing you both the best.
Rain- Yep, that's how we look at it.
Mr LaP- First part of sentence- You are welcome. Second part of sentence- That's what worries me. ;)
Thanks, Ally. :)
Hope things are improving by now, and that you're able to get some time to do what you enjoy.
Things are better, BW, but still a bit hectic. Bob has now upgraded to a walker with brakes and wheels. He is allowed to put some weight on his leg when he walks and will gradually put more weight on it for the next week or two until he reaches full body weight on his leg and can walk on his own. Once he does that things will be pretty much back to normal.
