Sewing Project 23- A liner for my sister's four wheel utility cart. The 6 ties will allow her to attach the liner to the inside of her cart. With this project I learned how using the correct needle and type of thread makes a sewing project go much more smoothly. |

I can't believe how fast you have progressed! It's taken me a lifetime to manage to make things like this!!!
Brilliant, really well done.
Clothes next?
Intricate patchwork next?
I did tell you that it was addictive, didn't I ? ;)
Thanks! I am thinking about clothes but my next two projects are new couch pillow covers and two dog bed for the dogs. And you were right, it has become addictive. I think because it is so challenging for my mind. :)
I don't know anyone who does craft/sewing things who has got dementia.
One of my patchy ladies was told by her GP that there was a recent article in the medical literature about patchwork keeping your mind active and helping protect against neural deterioration (better than doing crosswords and suduko apparently).
So, we should both be OK!
I believe it. When I first started sewing my brain felt as if it had just received a big intake of pure oxygen.
