The Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is a centuries old trek across northern Spain done by following "The Camino de Santiago", the road to Santiago. Before February of 2001 I had not heard of "The Camino" nor of the Pilgrimage. By the end of October of that year I was in Santiago after completing the walk myself. I thought that when I reached Santiago my journey was over but I see now that my journey started way before I got to Spain and still has not ended.
Thanks, love that table runner, too. Why would there be break-ins after a yard sale? Wouldn't it make more sense for there to be more break-ins during a yard sale with everyone out of their houses?
I love seeing what is available in other countries at yard and similar sales. Thess are so different to anything we'd find here.
But, finds in South Africa are very similar to what we'd find here - which always surprises me. It shouldn't, I suppose, as there are many English and Dutch descendents there, all of whom took their belogings out with them when they invaded/emigrated.
The break-ins occur after yard sales because the "buyers" are scoping out the houses, front and back-- decks with patio doors, side doors to garage, basement windows. The thefts occur later when homeowners aren't at home.

Nice finds. Quality stuff. Love that table runner.
Yard sales are rare around here. Police don't care for them-- too many break-ins occur after a yard sale, so we are all encouraged to not have one.
