No Beer, Coke
October 28, 1919, the National Prohibition Act (a.k.a. The Volstead Act) went into effect giving Federal and state governments the power to enforce the 18th amendment. The 18th amendment banned the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors in the United States.
